Berkshire District Attorney’s Office attends Festival of Lights 2023

On 12/7/2023, District Attorney, Timothy Shugrue, along with Representative William “Smitty” Pignatelli, and members of Law Enforcement attended the Festival of Lights Celebration at Lilac Park in Lenox, MA. to start the celebration of Hanukkah.

During the celebration, D.A. Shugrue spoke of the need to keep all members of the Berkshires safe during a time of conflict which has led to protests across the globe and here in the Berkshires.

D.A. Shugrue stated “I am here to stress that we are especially cognizant in our role in protecting and advocating for those that are targeted based on race, gender identity, sexual orientation, ethnicity, religion, or any other identifying factor that creates vulnerabilities.”
