Internships

District Attorney Shugrue values the experiences that internships provide. Internships include assisting lawyers prepare for cases; research; law enforcement support; as well as work in specialty units. Internship applications are accepted on a rolling basis. This summer (2026), the Berkshire District Attorney’s Office is going through a large renovation project. Unfortunately, this will greatly reduce the number of interns we are able to accept.

Internship positions for the summer of 2026 have been filled. The Berkshire District Attorney’s Office will begin accepting winter internship applications in early fall.

Due to the confidential nature of the the work, the Berkshire District Attorney’s Office does not offer high school internships. The Office welcomes high school students for job shadow days.
