Burdick Pleads Guilty to Assault & Battery

On Wednesday, July 12, Jeffrey Burdick (Bennington VT) pleaded guilty to Indecent Assault and Battery and Assault and Battery on a Family or Household Member. Brudick was sentenced in Berkshire Superior Court by the Honorable Judge Agostini to one year probation with no contact and stay away from the victim. The victim was present for Burdick’s plea.

Burdick and the victim were in a relationship from 2008 to 2013. During the time of their relationship, Burdick assaulted the victim.

Assistant District Attorneys Rachel Eramo and Amy Winston represented the Commonwealth. Victim Witness Advocates Jane Kibby Pierce, Judy Linehan, and Lindsay McCarthy served on behalf of the District Attorney’s Office. North Adams Police Department were the law enforcement in the case.
