North Adams, MA-On Monday, May 11th, at approximately 11:49 am North Adams police responded to 256 Walnut Street after David Louis Boucher (48 years old) reported to police that he killed a family member inside the residence. Upon arrival, police found one adult male deceased inside the home.
Boucher was taken into custody by North Adams police and was charged with one count of Murder. He will be arraigned in Northern Berkshire District Court on Tuesday, May 12th. Arraignment is scheduled for the morning.
There is no danger to the public.
The North Adams Police Department, in conjunction with the Berkshire State Police Detective Unit assigned to the Berkshire District Attorney’s Office, is investigating the crime.
