ADA Aleah Fisher Receives Spotlight Award

District Attorney Shugrue is proud to announce that Assistant District Attorney Aleah Fisher received the Spotlight Award at the Massachusetts District Attorneys Association annual state-wide conference. The Spotlight Award is given to prosecutors who demonstrate outstanding service, spirit, and professionalism.

District Attorney Shugrue commented, “Assistant District Attorney Fisher’s work ethic, professionalism, and openness to continue learning make her a deserving recipient of this award. Attorney Fisher is an excellent representative of our office and has a bright future.”

Assistant District Attorney Fisher began working at the Berkshire District Attorney’s Office in September 2021. Aleah Fisher joined Director of Victim Witnesses Advocates, Jane Kibby-Peirce, as an award recipient at the 2023 MDAA conference. Kibby-Peirce was bestowed with the Victim Witness Advocate of the Year. The Massachusetts’s District Attorneys Association is made up of over 770 Assistant District Attorneys and over 280 victim witness advocates.Assistant District Attorney, Timothy J.
