On Sunday, December 3rd, 2023, the Berkshire District Attorney’s Office and Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) hosted the annual Candlelight Vigil and Remembrance of Hope at St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church in Pittsfield, remembering the lives our community has lost due to drunk driving dating back to 1988, and as recent as 2022.
To shine a glimmer of light on this time of mourning, District Attorney Shugrue ended welcoming remarks with the note that there were no new victims in 2023!
