Candlelight Vigil held for victims of Drunk Driving

Om 12/7/2025, The Berkshire District Attorney’s office and the Massachusetts State Police held it’s annual Candlelight Vigil at St. Stephen’s Church in Pittsfield.

The event honors Berkshire County victims killed as a result of drunk driving incidents. Performances by the Grace Notes of Miss Hall’s school, readings, and remarks from D.A. Shugrue were included at the vigil.

D.A. Shugrue stated “Losing a loved one in difficult. Losing a loved one unexpectedly and too soon is also insurmountable. Sitting in this church together, we are tied by a common thread, the loss of a  loved one caused by a drunk driver”

The candlelight vigil is held every December.
