Jacob Frusciente Arraigned for December 11th Stabbing Incident

On Thursday, December 12th Jacob Frusciente (Pittsfield, MA.) was arraigned in Central Berkshire District Court in connection with a stabbing on December 11th. The Defendant was charged with Assault and Battery with a Dangerous Weapon, Serious Bodily Injury and Assault and Battery with a Dangerous Weapon. Frusciente’s was ordered to be held on $50,000 cash bail pending a mental health evaluation.

Around midnight on Wednesday December 11th 2024 (Wednesday night into Thursday morning), members of the Pittsfield Police Department (PPD) responded to a residence on Harvard Street for a reported stabbing incident. The subsequent investigation revealed that two individuals there had sustained stab wounds. The two adult victims, a male and female who are both Pittsfield residents, were treated at Berkshire Medical Center (BMC) for their injuries. The male victim received more substantial injuries but both are expected to survive.

As a result of the investigation, 32-year-old Pittsfield resident Jacob Frusciente was arrested and charged with one count of Assault and Battery with a Dangerous Weapon and one count of Assault and Battery with a Dangerous Weapon resulting in Serious Bodily Injury. Frusciente is believed to be acquainted with the victims. He was arraigned in Central Berkshire District Court on Thursday December 12th.
