On June 5th, 2024, Ms. Lynn Stanley (North Adams, MA. 12/29/82) passed away after being struck by an eastbound train at approximately 5:10am this morning. She was struck under the Hadley Overpass in North Adams. The collision took place in North Adams in the area of American Legion Drive. The Berkshire District Attorney’s Office is leading the investigation. Law enforcement agencies involved in the investigation include the State Police Detective Unit assigned to the Berkshire District Attorney’s Office and the National Transportation Safety Board.
