On Tuesday, July 11th, Omar Soto-Rincon was arraigned in Central Berkshire District Court for indecent assault and battery on a person under 14. The Defendant allegedly sexually abused a minor under the age of 14. Upon issuing a charge, Mr. Soto-Rincon was arrested by the Broward County Sheriff’s Office in Florida and transported back to Massachusetts by the United States Marshals Service.
The judge issued $5,000 cash bail. A pretrial hearing has been set for January 6, 2025.
