On Tuesday, September 1st, the Pittsfield Police arrested Willie Harrison (Pittsfield: 26 years old) in connection with the August 18th Circular Avenue and Division Street Pittsfield non-fatal shooting. The Defendant is charged with:
o Assault and Battery by Discharging a Firearm
o Discharging a Firearm within 500 Feet of a Building
o Possession of a Firearm without a FID Card
o Possession of Ammunition without a FID Card
The Defendant will be arraigned on Wednesday September 2nd in Central Berkshire District Court. The arraignment will most likely take place in the morning session.
On September 1st, at approximately 9:45am Willie Harrison appeared in Central Berkshire District Court for an unrelated matter. Upon his arrival in court, the court officers notified Pittsfield Police that he (Defendant) was in court and brought him into custody without incident.
