A motion to dismiss charges, filed on behalf of Michael Taylor (last known resident of Charlemont, MA, 41 years old), was denied by the Honorable Judge Vrabel. Taylor is charged with negligent operation of a motor vehicle resulting in homicide.
On October 20, 2019, Taylor and a co-defendant were car racing on Route 8 in Cheshire, MA. The race caused a collision with an uninvolved motor vehicle traveling in the north-bound lane. As a result, the driver of the uninvolved vehicle was killed.
