On Friday, February 10th the execution of a search warrant in both Adams and Pittsfield occurred (see press release from 2/12/23 “Seizure of Guns, Drugs and Ammunition”). Three individuals were arrested as a result of the search warrant which resulted in the recovery of guns, ammunition and large quantities of drugs. The three individuals arrested were Kristen Vazquez (11 Quaker Street -apartment 2, Adams), Carlos Alberto Cruz-Lopez (11 Quaker Street -apartment 2, Adams) and Trevon Thompson (74 Linden Street, Pittsfield).
Ms. Vazquez has been held without the right to bail for 120 days based on a dangerousness hearing in North Adams District Court on Tuesday, February 14th. Ms. Vazquez had pending charges in Springfield and, based on the current arrest, has had her bail in Springfield revoked.
Mr. Cruz-Lopez was held on 100k bail and will face a dangerousness hearing on Friday, February 17th in North Adams District Court. Mr. Cruz-Lopez had pending charges in Springfield and, based on the current arrest, has had her bail in Springfield revoked.
Mr. Thompson was held on 10k bail. His bail was posted over this past weekend.
